Pakistan's batsman Asif Ali has been named Player of the Month by the International Cricket Council, the world's largest forum for cricket.
ICC had nominated Bangladesh's Shakib Al Hasan and
Namibia's David Visa along with Pakistani cricketer Asif Ali for Player of the
Month and sought views on social media to select one of the three.
By voting on social media, Asif Ali was declared the Player of the Month, which
proves that Asif Ali's rain of fours and sixes is also enjoyed by social media
users.
Asif Ali had played an important role in the victory of the
national team in two important matches and in the match against Afghanistan he
scored 25 runs off seven balls with four sixes in one over.
