Former Pakistan speed star Shoaib Akhtar says that if
Virat Kohli had been involved with me, he would not have scored so many runs.
There was a Pak-India match during the Asia Cup in
Dambulla in 2010 in which Shoaib Akhtar was also involved. However, due to
Kohli's early dismissal, he could not bowl to him. Of course not.
Talking to an Indian site on the occasion of IPL, Shoaib
Akhtar said that Virat Kohli is a very talented cricketer but if I had bowled
him, he would not have scored as many runs as he did. Their runs have a
significance of their own.
It may be recalled that Virat Kohli has so far scored
23,650 runs in 458 international matches, including 70 centuries and 122
fifties.
