Under the Junior Development
Program, young players between the ages of 13 and 19 have been given one-year
contracts. These 100 bright stars of Pakistan cricket have full potential to
shine on the horizon of the world in future. All these players were specially
invited to watch the final of HBL PSL 7 between Lahore Qalandars vs Multan
Sultans at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. ۔
Apart from honing the talents of
these players, the PCB will also give them scholarships. All players will also
be given a monthly stipend of Rs 30,000. Out of these 100 players who got
contracts, 45 are from U-19, 25 from U-16 and 15 from U-13. There are 10
players who have been given contracts on the basis of special talent. Five
special contracts have also been awarded for the promotion and acceptance of
cricket in Balochistan.
